Son on a Beach
Film: Agfa APX 100 (120) printed on Ilford MG IV RC paper. Sputnick camera; exposure 1/50@fll, handheld. This was take at Dungeness Split on the Olympic Peninsula of Washington State. This sand spit is a curved peninsula of sand formed when wind and waves erode nearby sandstone cliffs. The photo shows my wife, Karla, and son Ben walking along the beach. It was a "grab shot" so unfortunately I had no time to set up a tripod, thus the DOF and focus could have been better. I printed this intentionally dark to try to increase the "stark" feeling of the photo.
