Guns N' Roses Appetite for Democracy
3-D Concert Film

As part of their 12-show Appetite for Democracy residency at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nev. back in November, Guns N’ Roses recorded one of the shows for an upcoming 3-D concert film.

The footage for the 3-D film was recorded during the sold out Nov. 21, 2012 show in Vegas where the band clocked in with a set that spanned over three hours and more than 30 songs, leaving a lot to be considered for the 3-D film. Although the film’s set list has not been fully disclosed just yet, the set list from that evening includes tracks from the band’s entire career, spanning from 1987’s ‘Appetite for Destruction’ through 2008’s ‘Chinese Democracy.’

Produced by Barry Summers, the Appetite for Democracy 3-D film is due out at some point in 2013 and will mark the band’s first live concert DVD release in more than 20 years.

In addition to releasing the 3-D film in 2013, Guns N’ Roses are also gearing up to return to Australia in March for a handful of shows that include stops in Perth, Sydney, Newcastle, Melbourne and Brisbane. ZZ Top will be joining them for the trek down under.
