Saddy Stereoview Consignment Auctions Next 3-D Auction is July 23 and 24, 2021

One of the best places to find rare 3-D items for sale is the Saddy Stereoview Consignment Auction regularly held stereoview auctions conducted by John Saddy. The latest collection of goodies goes on the auction block on Thursday, July 22 with lots 1 through 391 and Friday, July 23 with lots 392 through 781.

The auction items are listed and all lots are scanned on John's Web site at saddyauctions.com. The website is easily navigated by topic. Each item is grouped in areas of interest, such as Kilburn, CDVs, California, and so on. You will need to register on the site in order to place a bid online.

John grades each item and includes elaborate descriptions, too. Unlike eBay, sniping is not part of the equation in John's auctions. Lots are closed with a very liberal waiting period. Beginning at the closing time, after 10 minutes with no bids or inquiries, all lots are closed together.

After the sale, contact John if you are interested in any of the items that received no bids.

You can contact John via an email link on the Saddy Auctions Web site to find out about subscribing to the catalog. Jefferson Stereoptics is located in London Ontario, Canada.

World's Smallest View-Master® Viewer

World's Smallest View-Master®

World's Smallest has produced a tiny View-Master® viewer that actually works. Of course, only your garden gnome will be able to see the 3-D effect.

View-Master® keychains

The viewer is similar to the View-Master® keychain produced by Basic Fun several years ago. Basic Fun also made a small Barbie View-Master® keychain viewer.

Another small View-Master® viewer was produced as a Hallmark Christmas ornament.

Sawyer's View-Master® Business Cards

Sawyers Business Card

Maurice Greeson shared his grandfather's View-Master® business cards online. When Greeson was a youngster he tagged along with his grandfather H.C. KcKay on a View-Master® photo shoot. "When Sawyer's hired my grandfather to shoot the first View-Master® packet, the Parrot Jungle in Miami, Florida, I got to tag along. I was only 11 but it was great fun and a great memory. Here is a picture of the business cards that Sawyer's had made up for my grandfather."

The business card featured a color imprint of a reel on the front. The card flipped open to show a viewer, Stereomatic 500 projector and Personal camera with flash on the top and the contact information on the bottom.
