Civil War Refreshment Saloon Stereoview

A Civial War refreshment saloon stereoview sold
for $389 with 1 bid. The seller believed the stereoview
was taken by R. Newell showing a large gathering
of people around some buildings. There is a canon
(Fort Brown). One of the buildings is identified
as: Union Volunteer Hospital. Another as Union
Volunteer Refreshment Saloon. It looks like it
has an eagle statue on top.
On back in pencil: Union Volunteer Refreshment
Saloon - Washington St. Wharf. There is also mention
of how the view was asked about in couple issues
of Stereo World Magazine in 1979.
